Hey Ryan,

I've with you on most of these. Definitely agree on AK. Not a huge fan of the Harbour House, but I enjoy the atmosphere and relative quiet of the place. I think DHS is what you make of it--you gotta do it right.

Keep these up!

What do you think makes Le Cellier overrated? I'm interested.

Main Street really is a shadow of it's former self. Most recently, some of the "buildings" such as the Hall of Champions (really it's just one big facade for Emporium) have been under tarps for months. Additionally it was just announced that Main Street Bakery will be closed through October 6.

Magic Kingdom has really fallen down my list of favorite parks. I'm glad they are doing something as far as Fantasyland goes, but it makes you wonder what has really been going on over at the Magic Kingdom over the past 10 years. There's only so many repetitive shops and Stitch attractions a person can take.

Damn....I had forgotten about the heyday of Main Street. Now I'm depressed at how bad it has become. :(

I still disagree about Le Cellier and would like to throw in the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness for a fun family meal with good food. The Wilderness Lodge Whispering Canyon Cafe is good for breakfast and BBQ dinner too.

The WEDway People Mover (yes, I still refuse to call it that stupid newer name) is one of the best deals in MK. Rarely any lines, and more times than I can count, we have stayed on and rode again and since there was nobody waiting, the CMs had no problem with it.

Dole whips overrated? You must be crazy. :)

I think Cosmic Ray's is rated just right. Food is good, crowds are large. Sonny Eclipse gets repetitive after a while. You can get food fast if you go to the right pod and wait on the right side of the cashier, but forget about getting condiments or drinks quickly without wading through a throng of hungry guests.

I agree on Toontown Fair. It's worth a trip for Goofy's Barnstormer and then off to another part of the park.

Rainforest Cafe (and T-REX for that matter) could disappear, and I wouldn't complain.

Finally, Sunshine Seasons is awesome. I'm still peeved that we went to Electric Umbrella over SS on our last trip.

I have more, but it deserves it's own post...

Whoa whoa whoa...you don't like Dole whips!?! You had me up until that point. I agree with Rainforest Cafe. I hear the new dinosaur restaurant...T Rex (I think?) is Rainforest Cafe reincarnated. I hear it is terrible but of course the kids love it.

Regarding Boardwalk.....at least there's an ESPN Club, which comes in great handy when your sister somehow manages to schedule her wedding on the day of an important football game and you miss pictures because it goes into overtime :) And it's somewhat more real-world for when you get that over-Disneyed burnout.

Underrated: the lefse with cinnamon sugar rolls at
Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in Norway. Maybe it's the Scandinavian in me and the fact that you can't get good lefse in the south, but for being made in Florida....it's pretty good stuff!!

Le Cellier is overrated and overpriced. I don't get why people go apeballs over it. It's like Outback-quality steaks at Ruth's Chris prices. (that's the current Outback.....not the Outback of 7-8 years ago when they were still good)

Also Overrated: Rainforest Cafe @ Downtown Disney and Animal Kingdom. I don't get the attraction to this place. The food just isn't good, it's overpriced, drinks are outrageous, and God help you if they seat you near one of the animatronics that go off loudly every 10 minutes or so. They should knock down the Rainforest Cafes and build condos :)

Sadly Overrated: Ohana's Aloha Buffet (dinner only). It used to be really good, but the quality has drastically dropped off. I really used to look forward to Ohana for dinner, with it's excellent view (and dimmed lights) for the MK fireworks. The character breakfast buffet is still worth the visit, however.

Tongue pain overrated: Dole whips. Remember that episode where Homer Simpson goes to Brazil and orders all of the sweetest fruit juices and they're so sweet he swallows his lips? That was filmed on a soundstage nowhere near Brazil, so in place of overly-sweet fruit juices, the director had the actor playing him have a Dole whip instead.

Underrated: the chocolate-covered pretzels at the candy store. I don't know if it's the Mickey shape or what, but dayum!

Underrated: sushi at Wolfgang Puck's. Bested only by Teppanyaki at EPCOT.

Underrated: Sunshine Seasons on the bottom floor of The Land, especially the Asian selections

For discount and coupons codes I found this site: http://www.carrentalsavers.com/ . Apparently you can save quite a bit of money this way although I still prefer the Priceline route. Just wanted to pass the URL along before I forgot!

I have to say that I really loved all of the Baby Care Centers except Hollywood Studio's. They really need to make this area bigger especially the breast feeding rooms. It is so small and will only hold two families.
I was there when my daughter was 3 months old since our trip was already booked when I found out I was pregnant. The breast feeding rooms at Animal Kingdom are very nice quite and comfortable with rocking chairs and foot rest for you. I almost fell asleep myslef after I was done feeding Bella. Nice place to relax with your child when the heat is on.
